What is Orcland FC?
Orcland FC is the most chaotic, irreverent, and completely unofficial corner of New Zealand football.
Are we a club? No.
Are we serious? Even less.
Are we football fans with too much free time and unlimited internet access? ABSOLUTELY.
Are you connected to Auckland FC?
NO!! No affiliation, endorsement or secret handshake with Auckland FC … this is just Rob and Ange having fun at a local football club near you!
I think Nick B did see us once … across the room, and then he quickly called security. Ok, it may have been his living room but that’s beside the point.

What should I expect from Orcland FC?
Rob 🇳🇿, Ange 🇨🇱, and El Orco 🏴☠️ are football fans who love a good laugh! Expect top-tier banter, spicy takes on local and global football as well as savage wind-ups of Auckland FC‘s A-League rivals that will have them crying into their shin pads.
But wait, there’s more … when any FIFA World Cup swings by, we’ll be there, roasting and raving while cheering on the All Whites (NZ) and La Roja (Chile) too.

So basically you’re just fuelling my phone scrolling addiction?
Yes … and No. Behind the chaos and memes, there’s something very real: we genuinely care about promoting New Zealand football.
We want to see NZ football grow, fill stadiums (or at least the local pitch sideline), inspire new generations of kiwis, and help local players earn the recognition they deserve.
You might find us out in the wild recording games or doing interviews, mainly in the NZ Northern League, especially Auckland FC Reserves or Fencibles United FC. If you do see us, come and say hello … two of us don’t bite (can’t vouch for El Orco). We cover NZ Football in general, A-League, and the odd bit of International Football.
We are also OG supporters of Auckland FC, having been members of the Black Knight Club since day one. Unfortunately we aren’t allowed to record the official Auckland FC games like we do with the AFC Reserves or Northern League games, so sorry about that in advance (unless Uncle Bill or Nick ever decide to give us one of those cool all access passes!). However, we do have other things planned for you during the Auckland FC season … besides drinking.
So, if you’re here for football, you’ve found your tribe.

How can I contact you?
If you missed that day at school when they were teaching telepathy, then you might have to reach out to us via traditional means.
You will find us at EVERY home Auckland FC game (at the bar in the Black Knight Club), OR with your mother (she has Rob’s contact details in her favourites).
You can also contact us via our social media accounts
Brands / Sponsors can contact us via DM on Instagram or X before we chat via email, OR chat with us in person at the Black Knight Club.
✉️ You can send us a postcard, a football shirt from your local club, or a brand new Lamborghini here: ✉️

Who are Rob, Ange and El Orco?
Rob from New Zealand 🇳🇿 and Ange from Chile 🇨🇱 are a multicultural couple now based in Auckland, NZ.
We’re a creative duo with a long history of making things nobody asked for… but that ended up being pretty awesome anyway. Together, we’ve founded projects like:
- Woodward Chile (Language School in Chile 2002-2018)
- Woodward English (over 1 million subscribers on YouTube – 90+ million views of LONG form content)
- Woodward Education (teacher resources used by over 53,000 teachers worldwide)
- New Zealand Global (until 2015) – Represented NZ Education (including all 8 NZ universities) in Chile.
- 22 Websites (travel, education, entertainment) averaging 3-4 million views per month.
With over 25 years working together, we have been creating online content since before Facebook and YouTube even existed! We’ve created educational, digital, and globally impactful content that has been used by millions around the world.
Our latest project is Orcland FC … we will become one of the largest football content creators in New Zealand.
But who is El Orco?
You’ll find out soon enough.
Why do we take the Chilean flag with us to every game?
It starts conversations and these random encounters can lead to interesting experiences.
Most Latin American countries have a tradition of showing their flags at random places around the world. If you spot one from your own country, then you can easily go up to them and chat. (When we lived in Chile, we always had the NZ flag at events)

Anything else you want to say?
- Don’t eat anything green and furry that you may find in your fridge, even if you have the munchies.
- Remember, we are NOT endorsed, sponsored or even tolerated by Auckland FC.
- All episodes have been recorded on VHS because we have run out of BETA tapes.
- Wait, what?!? You’re still here? Go and do something more productive with your life!
- Oh look, we have a press button.
- Have an awesome day!
Rob, Ange and El Orco.
