Here are the results from Round 17 of Season 2025/26 of the A-League (Men).

Macarthur FC vs. Auckland FC

5 January 2026 – Campbelltown Sports Stadium (Attendance: 3,543)

Half Time: 0-1
Full Time: 1-1

⚽️ 41′ Lachlan Brook (Auckland FC)
⚽️ 70′ Tomislav Uskok (Macarthur FC)

It was played back in January so to help you remember, it was the game where Lachie Brook scored a goal in the 41 minute after a counter-attack and a great through pass from Sakai.

Western Sydney Wanderers vs. Wellington Phoenix FC

13 February 2026 – CommBank Stadium (Attendance: 4,461)

Half Time: 2-0
Full Time: 2-2

⚽️ 17′ Ryan Fraser (Western Sydney Wanderers)
⚽️ 43′ Phillip Cancar (Western Sydney Wanderers)
⚽️ 68′ Bill Tuiloma (Wellington Phoenix FC)
⚽️ 71′ Ifeanyi Eze (Wellington Phoenix FC)

Wellington Phoenix made a great comeback after being down 2-0 at half-time. Their first Phoenix goal was by Bill Tuiloma which initially looked like an own goal. The second Phoenix goal was during a goal mouth scramble with Eze scoring making it his 8th of the season.

59th min VAR was used to check a possible penalty, to me it looked a clear penalty and even the commentators thought the same … then I forgot it is an Australian league! … No penalty!

64th Barbarousus had a huge chance in front of the goal … it went over the bar. Probably didn’t want to score against his old club. 🙂

Perth Glory FC vs. Newcastle Jets FC

13 February 2026 – HBF Park (Attendance: 7,177)

Half Time: 0-1
Full Time: 1-3

⚽️ 15′ Lachlan Bayliss (Newcastle Jets FC)
⚽️ 47′ Lachlan Rose (Newcastle Jets FC)
⚽️ 81′ Xavier Bertoncello (Newcastle Jets FC)
⚽️ 91′ Stefan Colakovski (Perth Glory FC)

Newcastle continue their dominant form. They have officially set a new club record by winning seven consecutive A-League Men matches. Last man red card for Perth Glory’s Brian Kaltack didn’t help in the 68th minute.

Melbourne Victory vs. Brisbane Roar FC

14 February 2026 – AAMI Park (Attendance: 11,163)

Half Time: 0-1
Full Time: 1-1

⚽️ 13′ Charles Nduka (Melbourne Victory)
⚽️ 76′ Nicholas D’Agostino (Brisbane Roar FC)

Sydney FC vs. Adelaide United FC

14 February 2026 – Allianz Stadium (Attendance: 8,816)

Half Time: 1-1
Full Time: 1-2

⚽️ 14′ Tiago Quintal (Sydney FC)
⚽️ 18′ Ryan Kitto (Adelaide United FC)
⚽️ 87′ Luka Jovanović (Adelaide United FC)

Sydney started with a goal in the 14th minute, but the lead was short-lived due to an Adelaide goal 4 minutes later. The winning goal was a gift for Adelaide in the 87th minute after the ball came off the goalie in a weird way. The keeper had been good all match until that moment. That’s the hard life of goalkeeper.
