The 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup is the 20th edition of this annual international men’s youth football championship for under-17 national teams. Expanded to 48 teams for the first time this year (2025), it features squads from six confederations and this year is hosted by Qatar.
Note that the tournament will now be held in the same country over a five-year period, so the FIFA U-17 World Cup will be held in Qatar for the 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029 editions of the Cup. Germany are the defending champions from 2023.

- FINAL: 27 November 2025

A total of 48 teams from six confederations have qualified, including host Qatar. The teams were drawn into twelve groups of four on June 4, 2025.

Group B: Japan, Morocco, New Caledonia, Portugal
Group C: Senegal, Croatia, Costa Rica, United Arab Emirates
Group D: Argentina, Belgium, Tunisia, Fiji

The top two teams from each group (24 teams) and the eight best third-placed teams advance to the knockout stage, starting at the round of 32 all the way to the final to decide the FIFA U17 World Champions.
