The FIFA U-20 World Cup is the premier global showcase for the world’s most promising young football talents, pitting national teams with players under the age of 20 against each other in a thrilling biennial tournament. It started in 1977 as the FIFA World Youth Championship which then became the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2007.
