Where to sit at Go Media Stadium
Go Media Stadium (commonly known as Mount Smart Stadium) in Auckland, New Zealand is currently the home of Auckland FC (football team) and the New Zealand Warriors (Rugby League Team). Are you wondering where to sit at the stadium? We have something that will help you.
We walked around the ENTIRE stadium recording (in 4K video) the view you will have from the different sections of the stadium. The stadium has three stands, the West Stand, South Stand, and East Stand with each section of the stands (divided by access aisles) called a BAY. The number of each Bay will appear on the screen with a view of the pitch from there.

We didn’t speed up any parts so that you can get a feel for the stadium. You are more than welcome to jump to the sections that interest you the most. We also include a look inside the Black Knight Club and AFC Lounge in the East Stand. Of course, it doesn’t show the vibe because it was empty but you get an idea of the space. (Follow us on Instagram as we publish content from the Black Knight Club while we are there)

Another highlight are all the historic shirts / kits of different rugby, rugby league and football teams that are on the walls as you go to the upper East Stand. (Yes, we recorded these too!)

You also get a look at the tunnel under the East stand with all of the cool murals and we end up at Bay 22 where The Port are during Auckland FC games.

I hope you found this 4K Walking Tour of Go Media Stadium useful. If so, let others know about it.

What is the difference between Mount Smart Stadium and Go Media Stadium?
Mount Smart Stadium and Go Media Stadium refer to the same venue in Auckland, New Zealand. The primary difference is in the naming: Mount Smart Stadium was the traditional or historical name, while Go Media Stadium is the current official name under a naming rights sponsorship deal.
In May 2023, the stadium’s naming rights were secured by Go Media, a New Zealand-based marketing agency, leading to its official renaming as “Go Media Stadium Mt Smart” (incorporating the original Mount Smart reference). This one-year initial agreement has since been extended for at least four more years, running through 2028.
