⚽️ 20′ Emiliano Tade – Penalty (Auckland FC)
⚽️ 51′ Jordy Tasip (Vanuatu United)
⚽️ 69′ Matt Ellis (Auckland FC)
This game was almost postponed due to weather. The game started with a headed goal in the 8th minute by Luka Vicelich after a mega long thrown-in into the box. The Auckland FC second goal game from a penalty in the 20th minute taken by Emiliano Tade.
It wasn’t until the 51st minute when Vanuatu came back with a long shot by Alex Saniel from outside the box which deflected off a player (Jordy Tasip), causing an awkward bounce into the corner of the goal. There was nothing Blake Callinan could do to stop it. Then Matt Ellis, who had come off the bench, scoring with a low shot in the 69th minute to make the final score 3-1

⚽️ 9′ Haris Zeb (South Island United)

With two goals in the first 10 minutes, we thought it would be an easy match for South Island United. It wasn’t so.
Auckland FC vs. Bula FC
23 January 2026 – Eden Park – Auckland, New Zealand
Half Time: 1-0
Full Time: 1-0
⚽️ 12′ Daniel Normann (Auckland FC)
In the 12th minute, Daniel Normann smashed a goal in from a corner set piece. In the 38th minute we thought Everton O’Leary had scored a great goal with many players in front of him. BUT … VAR decided he was offside. In the 52nd minute Bula FC thought they had equalized with a goal by Nabil Begg but Roy Krishna was offside in that play … again another VAR decision.
Everton O’Leary unfortunately got his second yellow card in the 65th minute leaving Auckland FC with only 10 players for the last part of the match. 25 minutes + 5min extra time… that’s half an hour. James Bayliss was the deserved man of the match.
At the end of the match is was good to see Liam Gillion lover swapping his Gillion laser eyes shirt for Liam Gillion’s match shirt.
Solomon Kings FC vs. Tahiti United
24 January 2026 – Eden Park – Auckland, New Zealand
Half Time: 0-0
Full Time: 0-0
Tahiti United thought they had scored twice in this match but both goals were denied due to being offside.

⚽️ 45′ Max Mikkola (South Melbourne FC)
⚽️ 57′ Jordan Swibel (South Melbourne FC)
⚽️ 87′ Nahuel Bonada (South Melbourne FC)
The biggest win so far in OFC Pro League history. South Melbourne FC had to replace their goalkeeper Ilia Shalamanov-Trenkova after he received a head knock just after 60 minutes of play.
