Eli Adams had a chance to give Newcastle Jets the lead/win with a penalty in extra time (90+7) but missed THEN one minute later, Nicholas Duarte of Central Coast Mariners scored their last minute goal in the same extra time (90+8).
Where is Western United?
Western United has been placed on hiatus by the league’s governing body, meaning it won’t participate in the 2025-26 A-League Men’s or Women’s seasons. Australia Professional Leagues made this call following Western United’s owners entering liquidation in August.
